PURPOSE: To make possible adjustment of packing conditions by taking forms and shapes of commodities into consideration, by storing commodity informations about respective commodities and storing packing informations like packing conditions or packing control informations in every tray and controlling the packing section in the basis of the change of the packing control informations and the packing control informations preset in the commodity informations.

CONSTITUTION: The commodity informations in every commodity are stored in a PLU file 33a and the packing conditions like tray size and tension strength of film are stored in a tray master file 33b in every tray code of respective trays. The packing section control data in every commodity information stored in the PLU file 33a are stored in the packing section 38 to control it. In this time, when the packing section control data of the calling commodity informations in the PLU file 33a are altered, the packing section control data can be obtained in every commodity. Accordingly, the packing section control data can be adjusted in accordance with the forms and shapes of commodities. And further, alteration operation can be achieved by only once and hence, the operability is increased.
