Abstract:
A power switch (1) with a contact device (2) and a switching mechanism (10) has a spring energy store (11) for storing drive energy for the switching mechanism (10). A deflecting element (17) which transmits the action of a further spring (15) in the direction of action of a first spring (14) is mounted on a fixed pivot bearing (16). The deflecting element (17) can be connected, by driving rods (21, 22, 24) of different lengths, to the first spring (14) either at its end (18) facing the pivot bearing (16) or at its end (19) facing away from the pivot bearing (16). This arrangement makes it possible to connect the springs (14, 15, 26) mechanically in series or in parallel without altering external dimensions.
