PURPOSE: To surely position a main body and a drum and to improve the printing accuracy of an image by pressing an image carrier in a longitudinal direction with pressing force from an image forming device main body and abutting a holding member on a device main body.
CONSTITUTION: Both ends of a photosensitive drum 4 in its longitudinal direction are pivotally supported by a drum positioning pin 98 and the pin 98 is inserted/ fixed into a positioning hole concentric with a circular-arcuate flange part 79. On the other hand, a guiding hole 97 guiding a guide rib part and regulating the inclination of a process cartridge and a circular-arcuate positioning part 96 for positioning the process cartridge are formed on the device main body. In such a manner, the flange part 79 of the process cartridge is engaged with the positioning part 96 of the device main body so that the photosensitive drum 4 is positioned on the device main body with high accuracy.
