Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition suitable for pneumatic tire for high- speed, capable of improving vibration-damping properties and control stability of pneumatic tire, by blending a rubber raw material of specific component with specific amounts of carbon black and m-cresol resin. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts. wt. rubber raw material comprising at least one of natural rubber and synthetic polyisoprene rubber as an essential rubber component is blended with (B) 40-80 pts. wt. carbon black having 70-90 ml/g nitrogen adsorption specific surface area, 90 ml/100 g dibutyl phthalate absorption and (c) 1-5 pts. wt. m-cresol resin. Further the mixture is preferably mixed with 2-10 pts. wt. maleinized rosin of tall oil.
