Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a coin from being gate bitten. SOLUTION: A coin sorter is constituted by providing a flow-in port 2 for coin 5, a first sensor 4, second sensor 5 provided at an upstream side and a downstream side of a coin passage 3 of the coin to flow in from the low-in port 2, a gate 10 which is provided at the downstream side of the second sensor 5, a storage part of the coin which is provided at the down stream side of the gate 10, a discriminating part 6 for discriminating a correct coin based on input from the first and the second sensors 4, 5, a gate opening and closing part 7 to open and close the gate 10 by a discrimination result of the discriminating part 6 and a time setting part 8 to reset preset opening time of the gate 10 to be longer, by detecting no following coins by the first sensor 4 in a state in which the gate 10 is opened by the gate opening and closing part 7, the gate 10 can be closed after the coin has surely passed the gate 10 and the coin is prevented from being gate bitten.
