Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the count and discrimination of coins without temporarily storing them and to prevent a device from being enlarged by dropping the coins slid on a selection passage into denomination selecting holes on the most upstream side and guiding the selected coins to an eject shoot. SOLUTION: Concerning the coin selecting and sorting device with which the coins selected and sorted by denomination selecting holes 11A-11F are respectively temporarily stored in temporary storage boxes 15-20 by denominations, the denomination selecting hole 11A positioned on the most upstream side is provided with a guiding means 81 for dropping the coin, which is anthenticated and not discriminated as defective coin by a coin discriminating sensor, among the coins slid on a selecting passage 9 into the denomination selecting hole 11A. Besides, among this denomination selecting hole 11A and the temporary storage boxes 15-20, eject chute 29 for ejecting the coins and passage switching means 82 for guiding the coin selected by the denomination selecting hole 11A to the eject chute 29 are provided. Then, the passage switching means 82 moves the temporary storage boxes 15-20 by revolving a supporting bar 82A and the eject chute 29 directly supplies the coins through a chute 99 to a replenishing disk.
