Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a process for producing a vinyl chloride resin excellent in plasticizer absorption characteristics and easy to process.
CONSTITUTION: The process for producing a vinyl chloride polymer wherein vinyl chloride alone or a mixture comprising vinyl chloride as the main component and an ethylenic unsatd. monomer copolymerizable therewith is polymerized in the presence of a fatty acid ester of pentaerythritol and/or a fatty acid ester of glycerin, a fatty acid ester of sorbitan, and a fatty acid ester of polyoxyethylenesorbitan.
