Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent foreign matters from getting into a coin processor by providing an entrance sensor which can be used for coin inserting slits and selectively reacts to coins. CONSTITUTION:An entrance sensor SEIN which primarily detects inserted coins is provided at a coin inserting slit 11. The sensor SEIN is composed of a proximity switch which can be used for the slit 11 and only reacts to coins. In addition, a shutter 13 which blocks foreign matters inserted into the slit 11 and controls coins inserted from the slit 11 is driven by means of a shutter solenoid SOLSH which operates on the basis of the sensor SEIN. Therefore, foreign matters inserted from the slit 11 is prevented from getting into the main body of this coin processor, since the foreign matters are blocked at he slit.
