Title:
【発明の名称】硬貨処理機
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3336226
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact coin processor which can detect the coins without displacing them to the side of a storing coin belt conveyer by placing a reflective optical sensor as counter means at a position opposite to the upper surface of the belt conveyer. SOLUTION: The counting sensors 102A to 102F are placed opposite to each other above the counting paths 105A to 105F and irradiate the light to each other. Then a light emitting/receiving element detects the coins C based on the difference of received light quantity between the reflected light sent to the ones opposite to each other among paths 105A to 105F, i.e., the storing coin belt conveyers 86A to 86F and the reflected light of the coins C. In such a constitution of a reflective optical sensor, the sensors 102A to 102F are placed close to a single side of a carrier guide plate 101 in order to eliminate the influences of holes of the coins C and also to detect the pass of coins C (between coins C).
