PURPOSE: The titled coating compound for keeping a pattern of film of coating constant without being influenced by coating conditions such as difference of thickness of film during coating, etc., obtained by adding cobalt naphthenate, tin octylate, etc. as a curing agent to a solvent, silicone resin varnish modified with alkyd, pigment, and additive.
CONSTITUTION: (A) A proper amount of a solvent is blended with (B) silicone resin varnish modified with alkyd as a main component, (C) necessary amounts of pigment and additive, and (D) a curing agent consisting of (i) 0.006W0.12wt% (based on total amount of coating compound) one or more of cobalt naphthenate and cobalt naphtylate as a main curing agent, and (ii) 0.012W0.18wt% one or more of tin octylate and tin octenoate as a curing auxiliary, to give the desired coating compound.
EFFECT: Efficiently used as a coating compound for covering members for keeping high temperature for a long time and economically improved.
