Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a small color electrophotographic device which is a simple structure, obtains a beautiful color image and is excellent in maintenance. CONSTITUTION:All of a plurality of developing unit groups having different toners, as a group, are rotated and moved, so that they can move into the same developing position in order. In the developing position, each developing unit carries out development on a photoreceptor which is situated opposite them, and toner images are transferred on an intermediate transfer belt in order. A developing hopper part in each developing unit is divided into a first hopper 14a and a second hopper 14b, and the toner hopper comes to a high point in the developing position. A toner concentration sensor and a drive/ operation stop changeover mechanism for toner replenishment are mounted on a main body, to control the toner replenishment. The photoreceptor and the intermediate transfer belt are in the form of a replacable unit.
