PURPOSE: To obtain an identification signal in whichever recording track of a recessed part or a projected part, for the optical disk in which the identification signal such as an address information, etc., is arranged on either one of the recording tracks of the recessed and projected parts.
CONSTITUTION: Since an address region arranged on the recording track of recessed part is arranged by shifting in the direction of track so as not to be side by side in the direction traversing the track, crosstalk components of two identification signals among detection signals outputted from a photodetector 14 are time-divided when the recording track of projected part is traced by a beam spot. So, the identification signals are well binarized by a 2nd waveform rectifying circuit 52 from the crosstalk components, and the address information is accurately demodulated by an address reproducing circuit 25. Therefore, the address region could be formed only on the recording track of recessed part, since the address information can be obtained on both recording tracks of recessed and projected parts, then the optical disk is produced by the less man-hour.
