Abstract:
PURPOSE:To keep the electric resistance of a stabilized materia1 at low level and improve superconductive characteristics such as critical current density by distributing a fibrous compound superconductor of the same kind as a compound superconductor of core wire in a Cu matrix, and providing a diffusion preventing layer consisting of a metal oxide between the Cu matrix and the stabilizing material. CONSTITUTION:In a multi-superconductive wire, a plurality of Mb3Sn core wires 12 in which Nb3Sn layers 15 are formed between Cu-Sn layers 14 disposed in Nb tubes 13 are distributed and burled in a Cu alloy matrix 11 formed by 20wt.% Nb-Cu alloy. In the Cu alloy matrix 11, fibrous Nb3Sn 16 by insertion method is distributed. On the outer circumference of the Cu alloy matrix 11, a stabilized material 18 consisting of high purity Cu is formed through a diffusion preventing layer 17 consisting of an oxide of Rb, Sn and others, whereby a multi-superconductive wire is constituted.
