Abstract:
A concrete product for promotion of afforestation, to be used under the environment where sufficient amount of water necessary for accelerating germination of seeds is supplied is provided by planting carbon fibers on the predetermined position of the outer surface of the concrete product body. By constituting the carbon fibers into such construction that the carbon fiber filaments 15 have a strand form, non-woven fabric form, woven fabric form, knitted goods form, or into a predetermined style of compounding them, a large surface area of the carbon fiber which is a carrier for deposition of microorganisms can be secured, because of which, without necessitating to fill or plant the seeds of plant on the carbon fiber body 12, the seeds of plants which naturally settled on the carbon fibers and germinated grow on nutrition of the microorganisms that had settled to become sludge, and in case of use in water, purification of water can be attained by the presence of organism membranes by the settlement of microorganisms.
