Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the easy extension of guts with adequate tension to a frame of a racket by a manual operation.
CONSTITUTION: The deflection state of the frame 22 of the racket 20 when the guts are extended with the desired tension is previously investigated and a gage mark 12 indicating this deflection state is previously displayed on a gut tension display plate 10 mounted on the frame 22. The gut tension is so adjusted that the inside contour 23 of the frame 22 deflected by the gut extension aligns to the gage line 12 at the time of the actual extension of the guts 30.
