Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect a fact positively at a time when a range selector valve in an automatic transmission is stopped at an intermediate position other than the regular position due to a failure in an actuator, and on the basis of this detection signal, and perform a proper fail-process. CONSTITUTION:This controller is provided with an actuator 50 driving a range selector valve, a range control part 20 outputting a driving signal to this actuator, and a range position detector 40 being capable of detecting rach range position and intermediate position of the range selector valve and outputting the detection signal to the control part 20. This range control part 20 outputs a signal for a fail-process when the range selector valve is in the intermediate position of each range, on the basis of the detection signal out of the range position detector 40.
