Title:
TABLET DIGITIZER USING NON-CONNECTION TYPE STYLUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0612174
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a simple tablet digitizer in which a stylus is not connected to a main body.

CONSTITUTION: A voltage digitizer is provided, and vinylidene difluoride(PVDF) piezoelectric thin film 22 with a conductive thin film 23 and a resistant thin film 24 is used, and a transient voltage Vi between an upper face 23 and a lower face 24 of the PVDF piezoelectric thin film accompanying the pressurization of a stylus 27 is used. A resistor element forming a pressure divider together with a thin film resistor is provided between lead lines 25 and 26 pulled out of the corners of the resistant films 23 and 24. The relative coordinate value of a pressurizing point is calculated from the ratio of the detected voltages of each corner. Moreover, a protecting layer 222 can be provided on the resistant thin film 23.
