Abstract:
PURPOSE: To embody an objective sheet crown and stably obtain a sheet having a good shape.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of executing finish rolling using tandem mill having actuators for controlling sheet crown and shape, the shape change of the sheet during rolling is evaluated by elongation difference rate in the region of 50-200mm from the width end parts of the sheet. The actuator of each stand is set while taking the allowed value of the change in shape of the sheet which is preset in each stand of the tandem mill based on the results of evaluation and the objective sheet crown on the outlet side of the final stand into consideration and rolling is executed.
