Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem with a normal screw conveyor that the conveyor is not suitable for a garbage composting device since a feed speed is too high. SOLUTION: This conveyor 30 is of a screw conveyor type, and formed in the shape of a music box drum having a drum replaced with a rotating shaft 22 and pins replaced with first to sixth members 31 to 36. The first to sixth members 31 to 36 are pins or bars of rectangle shape in cross section as described later, and are rotated forward to feed processed matter at a very slow speed in an arrow 1 direction, and rotated reversely to return the processed matter in an arrow 2 direction, whereby, since the processed matter leaks through clearances between the pins or bars, only a small amount of the processed matter can be fed and, since a pitch angle is not provided to the pins or bars, the feed amount can be minuted.
