Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate assembling of a commutator motor by mounting a holder for containing a completed carbon brush product and a cover for covering the product on the frame of a motor. CONSTITUTION:A stepped portion 1d is formed on the end hole 1c of a frame 1 of a commutator motor, and a square rib 1e is extended from the portion. An engaging portion 1f, a notch portion 1g and a collar 1h are provided on the rib 1e. A cover 13 for covering the hole 1c and engaging the portion 1d is provided. A brush holder 60 is formed of a cylindrical conductive bracket 60a, a body 60b of an insulating material for convering the bracket, and a notched portion 60c of the bracket 60a, and contains a completed carbon brush procuct 7. A cap 80 has a recess 80a for convering the holder 60, engaged with the body 60b and covered with the cover 13. These are assembled by engaging with the engaging portion 1f of a pair of ribs 1e in the state that the cap 80 and the holder 60 are engaged with each other, and positioning with the collar 1h.
