PURPOSE: To enhance the efficiency of raking, by constituting a raking cutter attached to the front end of a raking device, with a pair of left and right ribbon screws having a specific arrangement so that bulk materials are raked into a conveyor while the materials are raked toward the center of the conveyor.

CONSTITUTION: In a raking device, a flexible conveyor 8 is wound around a conveyor arm 6, and lift arms 10 are attached to both sides of the front section of the above-mentioned arm 6 by means of a supporting shaft 9 so that they are made swingable by a hydraulic cylinder 11. Further, in the above-mentioned arrangement a raking cutter 12 is rotatably attached to the front end of the lift arms 10 so that it may be driven by a hydraulic motor 14 through a chain, etc. Further, ribbon screws 12a, 12b which constitute the raking cutter 12 are formed such that they are symmetrical with respected to their centers thereof in the spiral direction thereof, and their center sections are jointed together. With this arrangement bulk materials are raked into the conveyor 8 in the rear of the raking device while the materials are raked toward the center section by means of the left and right ribbon screws 12a, 12b.
