Title:
CONDUCTING JIG FOR PLATING OF PRINTING ROLL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0797700
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve assembly workability and enable plating treatment of a high current density by trisecting a conducting shaft, connecting one end shaft and central shaft to shielding plates via shaft couplings, mounting and screwing a boss to the central shaft and hold a printing roll therebetween.

CONSTITUTION: This conducting jig for plating of the printing roll 2 is provided with tapered holes 4 expanded in diameter to the outer side in the axial center parts at both ends of the roll 2. The bosses 5 engaging with the holes 4 and the shielding plates 7 made of a synthetic resin are mounted at the conducting shaft 1 to be inserted into these holes 4, by which the conducting jig is formed. The conducting shaft 1 described above is divided to the central shaft 1a and first and second end shafts 1b, 1c at both ends thereof. The end shaft 1b and the central shaft 1a are connected to the shielding plate 7a via the shaft coupling 8. The first boss 5a is mounted at the central shaft 1a and the second boss 5b is screwed to the shaft end thereof, by which the roll 2 is held. The shielding plate 7b is mounted via the end shaft 1c at the boss 5b.
