PURPOSE: To provide a bicycle stand which can support a bicycle stably and is convenient for carrying by folding it up compactly when it is not used.

CONSTITUTION: A pair of support arms 3 and 4 are arranged in a position to support a bicycle 40 when they are used, and are folded up in a position in parallel with a column 2 when they are not used. The leg parts 1 support the column 2 in a position in close vicinity to a floor surface in a developing posture so as to become almost parallel with the floor surface in positions opposed to each other while sandwiching the column 2 between them when they are used. The leg parts 1 are folded up so as to become parallel with the column 2 when they are not used.
