PURPOSE: To transform an automobile suspension device into a high caster in turning travel even in the case of adopting suspension geometry to remarkably improve postural stability such as antidive performance.
CONSTITUTION: A suspension mechanism 1 is composed of an upper trailing link 6, an upper lateral link 7, a pair of lower lateral links 8 and 9 and so on, and though the instantaneous center Pc of a front wheel 2 in a vehicle body side view is determined as an intersection of an axis of the upper trailing link 6 and a vehicle body side connecting point of the lower lateral links 8 and 9, in this suspension mechanism 1, the instantaneous center Pc is set high, and postural stability such as antidive performance is heightened. In order to transform an automobile suspension device into a high caster by lowering the instantaneous center Pc of a turning outer ring when in a turning bump, an adjusting means 5 is provided to carry out positional adjustment on a vehicle body side connecting point A of the upper trailing link 6 according to a turning degree.
