Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the parts which can prevent the generation of cracks, etc., even if the parts are heated and cooled by disposing a lubricating material between the metallic cylindrical sleeve and inside cylinder of the cylindrical parts formed by shrinkage-fitting the ceramic inside cylinder into the above- mentioned cylindrical sleeve. CONSTITUTION:For example, the inside cylinder 2 is formed to a hollow cylindrical shape with sialon ceramics. A steel outside cylinder 1 is then formed to the hollow cylindrical shape having such a size and shape at which an optimum compressive stress is applied to the inside cylinder 2. The inside cylinder 2 is fitted by a shrinkage-fit into this cylinder. Hard chrome plating 3 is previously applied on the inside surface of the outside cylinder 1 in order to maintain the lubricating state in a heating atmosphere in a more defectless state. BN powder is sprayed to the inner peripheral surface of the outside cylinder 1 and the outer peripheral surface of the inside cylinder 2 before heating the outside cylinder, respectively to form the lubricating layers 4 on the surfaces, thereafter, the shrinkage fitting is executed at the time of the shrinkage fitting.
