PURPOSE: To efficiently perform the reversely turning action of a device, in which cleaning and painting or the like are applied for both upper and bottom sides of a work in small size stored in a housing cage by reversely turning the housing cage, by relocating the work in the different housing cage at the time of reverse turning operation.

CONSTITUTION: When a housing cage 1 is carried into the bottom part of a reversely turning machine by a forward feed roller 2, first, pressing plates 17 are moved in the direction approximating to each other by operating upper and bottom pneumatic cylinders 10, and a work is fixed to be held between net bottommed plates 14, 14 of the housing cages 1, 1 in upper and bottom stages. Next under this condition, after the reversely turning machine is 180° rotated by operating a rotary actuator 8, the cylinders 10 are contractively actuated. Then the net bottommed plate 14 of the housing cage 1 positioned in the bottom side is dropped downward, and the work in the housing cage 1 placed in the upper side is dropped as left in a reversely turned condition to be stored in the housing cage 1 in the bottom side. The work, reversely turned and relocated in the different housing cage 1 in such way, is thereafter carried out to a processing device.
