Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a magneto-optical disk less liable to errors in readout and writing and having high reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A change of double refraction in a substrate at the time of joining a hub to the substrate is estimated from the joining method. Such a double refraction distribution as to compensate the change is imparted to the substrate with a magneto-optical recording layer and the hub is joined to the substrate to produce the objective magneto-optical disk.
