Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a delivery system which is capable of reading out the delivery information of a cargo by irradiating electromagnetic waves, and capable of managing the present position of the cargo. CONSTITUTION:When a cargo delivery request is made at a courier service agent 2, the code information according to the delivery information of the cargo (the name of the client, the receiver's address, etc.) are electromagnetically written in a RF delivery slip and the slip is affixed to the cargo. A cargo collecting truck 7a collects the cargo with the RF delivery slip affixed and carries it to a business office 3 of the region. In the delivery operation, the collecting truck 7a reads the delivery information of the RF delivery slip by means of a slip reading machine when the cargo to be delivered is loaded, and transmits the read-out delivery information (the loading information in this case) by a radio data circuit 16. This system enables management of the information of the cargo to be delivered and the collecting truck at the business office 3 and the integrated center 1.
