PURPOSE: To manufacture homogeneous fine particles of cubic system spinel ferrite by mixing ≥2 kinds of acetylacetonato-metals of uni- W quinquevalent metals and by hydrolyzing the mixture.
CONSTITUTION: ≥2 Kinds of acetylacetonato-metals represented by a formula M(C5H7O2)n (where M is a uni-quinquevalent metal) are mixed, and by hydrolyzing the mixture, fine ferrite particles having ≤0.1μm particle sizd can be obtd. The fine particles may be heat treated to obtain fine particles with high crystallizability. Using the cubic system spinel ferrite powder obtd. by this method high performance sintered ferrite with high density and high homogeneity is manufactured, and it can be used as a material for high frequency waves and a material for microwaves.
