Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a cleanser composition having excellent touch during or after used without damaging the cleansing function thereof, by compounding an acidic heteropolysaccharides originated from the genus Pollanthes L. and a surfactant. CONSTITUTION:Acidic heteropolysaccharides containing as the constituting components thereof arabinose, mannose, galactose, xylose and glucuronic acid and obtained by the tissue culture method of a plant belonging to the genus Pollanthes L. such as Pollanthes tuberosa L. and a surfactant are mixed with conventional other components to provide the objective composition. The composition can be prepared into shampoos, cleansing foams, body shampoos, solid soaps, etc. The acidic heteropolysaccharides are compounded in an amount of 0.001-10pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of the surfactant.
