Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase tug force without changing the speed of an independent navigation vessel by forming a fin shaped projection on the specific position of a propeller radially from the boss part center of the propeller.
CONSTITUTION: A fin shaped projection 6 projects from the rear side 4 of a propeller 2 blade, and protrudes along the circle of the rotation of the propeller 2 drawing a circular arc. This fin 6 protrudes from the rear side 4 of the blade within about 0.3 times of a propeller radius from the propeller 2 boss part 3 center along the circle of the rotation of the propeller 2 drawing a circular arc.
