PURPOSE: To provide titled coating free from sticking of the coating film to making roll even under weak dehydrating suction in an application to inorganic decorative laminate, etc., which comprises, as a vehicle, an emulsion resin capable of affording film with an elongation of at least a specific value.

CONSTITUTION: The objective coating can be obtained by incorporating (A) normally 10W60wt% of an emulsion resin as a vehicle (e.g., acrylic emulsion resin, SB latex resin, silicone emulsion resin, polyvinyl chloride latex resin, vinyl acetate emulsion resin, ethylene-vinyl acetate resin) capable of affording film with an elongation ≥150% in (B) a base coating.

EFFECT: By the application of the above coating to a water-contg. board which consists mainly of hydraulic inorganic binder and is made by wet process, a decorative laminate with high coating film adhesiveness, waterproofness and efflorescence resistance and good appearance can readily obtained at low cost.
