Abstract:
PURPOSE:To inform a succeeding boat of decelerating or backing state by operating a control means for a reverse gate mounted to a jet capably of converting the position to operate the reverse gate to the backing state and turn on an indicating means according to the operation. CONSTITUTION:When a hill slides forward, an impeller in a jet unit 24 is rotated by an engine to suck water from an intake port in the bottom of the hill and jet water through a jet port 26 in the predetermined rearward direction. On the other hand, for the deceleration and backing of the hull, a shifting handle 42 is shifted to a backing guide groove 41c as shown by the imaginary line. Thus, a reverse gate 27 is rotated about a shaft 28 through an operating cable 43 to be opposed to an opening of the jet port 26 so that the direction of water from the jet port 26 is reversed. Then, by the rotation of the reverse gate 27 and a projection 29 of the base, a switch 60 is operatively turned on so that an indicator will inform a succeeding ship of the decelerating or backing state of the hull.
