Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve abrasion resistance without deteriorating performance, such as freeness or wire mark, etc., by weaving polyester yarns and polyamide yarns as weft yarns in the lower layer of double woven fabric in a weave for entangling the weft yarns with warp yarns in a special state. CONSTITUTION:In a fabric weave chart, nX2 weft yarns (n is an integer of >=7) are arranged in the upper and lower layers to provide a double woven fabric. Polyester and polyamide yarns are used as weft yarns arranged in the lower layer. The yarns are woven in a complete weave in which the weft yarns of the polyamide yarns are entangled with the adjacent two warp yarns at one place and the weft yarns of the polyester yarns are entangled with the adjacent two warp yarns at two places. The wire diameter of the polyamide yarns is preferably larger than that of the polyester yarns. The polyamide and polyester yarns are preferably used at (1:3)-(3:1) ratio.
