PURPOSE: To build in a precast main setting pillar accurately and with good workability.
CONSTITUTION: For supporting a precast main setting pillar made of concrete as a temporary steel column for supporting an underground building frame in order made from the upper story by a reverse placing construction method with the upper end part of a pile P, a guide pipe 11 provided with an adjusting means adjusting the position in the horizontal direction of the lower end part against a pile hole PH is inserted into the pile hole PH, so as to perform a guide installing work fixing it to the ground in the adjusted condition in a decided posture and position. Next a pillar installing work is carried out, in which the precast main setting pillar C is inserted and brought down up to the decided position in the pile hole HP supported with the pile P in the condition in which the position in the horizontal direction against the pile hole PH is regulated in the guide pipe 11, and fixedly supported. After the precast main setting pillar C is in the condition supported with the upper end part of the pile P, the guide pipe 11 is drawn out from the pile hole PH.
