Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the task switching frequency per unit time by increasing the starting cycle of the task which carries out the drawing or pointing processing. CONSTITUTION:At least the drawing coordinates or the pointing coordinates are extracted at a sampling rate R(/sec), and the coordinates extracted within the cycle t time are collectively processed and displayed for each cycle T (T XR>=2). As the cycle T is larger than the coordinate input cycle 1/R set by the rate R, the starting interval of a coordinate or pointing processing task is increased in comparison with a conventional system where the coordinate and pointing tasks are carried out for each input of coordinates. In such a way, the starting cycle is increased for the task which performs the drawing or pointing processing. Thus the task switching frequency is reduced per unit time.
