Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the dust capturing property, wear resistance, color tones and form stability of the above mat by forming pile yarn by combining the saponified matter of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having a specific copolymn. ratio of ethylene and other fiber formable thermoplastic polymer and applying a dust holdable lubricant on the surface of the mat. CONSTITUTION:The pile yarn consists mainly of the composite fibers composed of the saponified matter of the ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer having 25 to 70mol% copolymn. ratio of the ethylene (saponified Et-VAc copolymer) and the other fiber formable thermoplastic polymer. In addition, a dust holdable lubricant is applied on at least the surface of the mat. Further, the rate of the saponification of the saponified Et-VAc copolymer is >=95mol.%. The saponified Et-AVc copolymer and the other thermoplastic polymer are compounded at 20:80 to 80:20 by weight.
