Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To leave a transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band at a cut part by forming an auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band which extends integrally with the transparent voltage drop preventing band, and cutting the auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band so as to be left behind. SOLUTION: An auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6a has a long groove 9 formed therein along its longitudinal direction, and an exposed insulator part 7a is provided inside the groove. When cut to half along the long groove 9, the auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6a is left also on the cut side, together with a back electrode voltage drop preventing band 8, and the back electrode voltage drop preventing band 8 can be left along the auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6a. In addition, the auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6a is insulated from the back electrode voltage drop preventing band 8 by an insulator 7, and this electroluminescent device cut can be held in a state in which the auxiliary transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6a extended integrally from a transparent electrode voltage drop preventing band 6 is kept formed around its overall periphery.
