PURPOSE: To provide a method for immobilizing conveniently and with good reproducibility a polyglutamic acid γ-ester-cont. microcapsule with no cohesiveness and with excellent operating characteristics and the polyglutamic acid γ-ester exhibiting an extremely characteristic color being derived from cholesteric liq. crystal properties with high design properties by immobilizing said capsule in a polymer matrix.
CONSTITUTION: The polyglutamic acid γ-ester-contg. microcapsule contg. a copolymer of glutamic acid γ-benzylester and glutamic acid γ-alkyleater with thermotropic cholesteric liq. crystal properties as a core substance and contg. an epoxy resin and a hydrophilic amine with at least two amino groups in a molecule as the constitutional components for the wall membrane, is provided.
