Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform screw-in operation with always proper screw torque at the time of rotating an electrode by a motor to screw the threaded part thereof to the threaded part of the counterpart electrode for tightening. CONSTITUTION:In an electrode connecting method wherein one of a pair of electrodes 12b to be connected with each other is rotated by a motor 38, and the threaded part 24 formed in one end thereof is screwed in the corresponding threaded part 22 for tightening, thereby connecting the electrodes 12a, 12b, the operation of the motor 38 is controlled so that the output torque thereof becomes an established proper screw torque at the time of stall operation of the motor 38, and a pair of the threaded parts 22, 24 are fastened to the output torque at the time of stall operation thereof.
