Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the damage of an 0-ring when the nut of an electrode plate terminal is tightened. SOLUTION: This ionized water forming device is constituted by inserting the bar-shaped electrode plate terminal 9 formed by joining a collar part 9a to an electrode plate 3 into a stepped hole 10 on the wall of a casing 2 of an electrolytic cell, tightening this terminal integrally with a lead wire terminal 12 by a nut 15 screwed into a threaded part 9b projecting from the casing 2 and housing the 0-ring 11 for sealing water leakage into the large diameter part of the stepped hole 10. The device described above is provided with an annular step part 16 pressed to the step part 10a of the stepped hole 10 between the O-ring fitting part 9c on the outer periphery of the electrode plate terminal 9 and the threaded part 9b. As a result, the axial position of the electrode plate terminal 9 is regulated by a projecting part 16 and the compressing and damaging of the O-ring 11 between the collar part 9a and the stepped part 10a are prevented at the time of tightening the nut 15.
