Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure normal flow of foul water on the upstream side even though water seal occurs in a lift part.
CONSTITUTION: A main pipe 10 is laid, extending in a sawtooth shape with downgrade parts 12 and lift parts 13 provided alternately. A branch pipe 11 is attached to the downgrade part 12 on a point in the vicinity of the lift part 13 of the main pipe 10. Then, a point in the vicinity of the lift part 13 on the downstream side and a point in the vicinity of a part whereto the branch pipe 11 is connected to the main pipe 10 are made to communicate with each other.
