Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the material cost and simplify the fitting of a member by using the residual margin of sewing as the member closing a vent hole until an air bag is inflated.
CONSTITUTION: The residual margin 5 of sewing 4 of an air bag is extended to a vent hole 3, this residual margin extension section 6 is sewn to the fabric of an air bag main body to cover the vent hole 3, and the residual margin extension section 6 opens the vent hole 3 via the prescribed deployment pressure of the air bag.
