Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain an endoscope for a ferromagnetic field which allows smooth insert operation, by forming an insert part using a non-magnetic material. CONSTITUTION:The leading end constituting part 6 of the insert part 2 of a soft endoscope 1 is formed of a ferromagnetic material and the curved part 7 of the rear end of the leading end constituting part 6 is covered with a skin 9. The front cap 11, reticulated tube 12 and each curved tube 13 internally mounted inside the skin 9 are formed of a non-magnetic material. The soft part 8 adjacent to the skin 9 is covered with a skin 15 and a reticulated tube 1 formed of a non-magnetic material is mounted inside the skin 15. As the non-magnetic material, austenite stainless steel, a copper alloy, an aluminum alloy or the like are used. The leading end constituting part may be formed using a rigid polymer material. As mentioned above, since the respective members constituting the insert part of the endoscope are formed of the non- magnetic material, the endoscope can be used even within a ferromagnetic field without receiving the effect of said ferromagnetic field.
