Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately feedback-control a rotational phase changing means on the basis of a detected value of the phase difference even in a case where the phase difference generated between a crank shaft and a cam shaft includes the phase deviation to be generated caused by the mechanical error. SOLUTION: In a control unit 21, a crank angle sensor 11 and a cam position sensor 12 are connected to the input side, and an electromagnetic actuator 22 is connected to the output side. The control unit 21 operates an eccentric mechanism by the electromagnetic actuator 22 and generates the phase difference between a crankshaft and a cam shaft. Moreover, the control unit 21 detects the phase difference on the basis of the signals from the crank angle sensor 11 and the cam position sensor 12, removes the phase deviation from the detected value of the phase difference, calculates the operating amount in which the eccentric mechanism is actually operated, and feedback-controls the eccentric mechanism by the electromagnetic actuator 22.
