Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas energy recovery unit capable of improving recovery efficiency significantly through enabling recovery of exhaust gas emitted from a molten reduction plant by a combined cycle power plant for a blast furnace, which is already developed and put in an actual use. SOLUTION: In this unit, energy is recovered from exhaust gas emitted from a molten reduction plant 1 via a combined cycle power plant for a blast furnace 10. An optimum amount of exhaust gas energy to be supplied in the combined cycle power plant 10 is realized through adjustment by mixing nitrogen with the exhaust gas continuously.
