Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate the connection with a terminal equipment and to relieve the load of an ISDN by setting the extension communication system which is provided with an extension communication signal transmitter and a terminal adaptor and implements call connection control for extension communication. CONSTITUTION:In the case of making communication for extension terminal equipments, switches S1, S2 of each terminal adaptor are set to the position of an extension transmission line 26 and a call message is sent to an extension communication terminal equipment processing unit 22, in which required processing is implemented and communication is implemented via the extension channel 26 between both the terminal equipments. Thus, the signal of extension communication is sent not through a subscriber transmission line 10. Thus, the operating efficiency is enhanced and the internal processing of the subscriber exchange is relieved by using an ISDN line for only OIC communication. Moreover, the socket connection is adopted for the connection between the terminal equipment and the transmission line for ease of installation.
