Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide a filter for liquid in which a valve is operated automatically by the movement of a head cover, and a filter element can be exchanged simply and efficiently without overflow of liquid from a housing main body. CONSTITUTION:A valve attachment opening 4 is installed at the upper end of a filtration chamber 2, and a housing main body 1 having an introduction opening 5 and a discharge opening 6 which are connected to circuits A, B for liquid, a cylindrical valve 9 set in the valve attachment opening 4 to be able to rotate, and a head cover 31 which has a filter element 21 in its lower part and is fixed at a position turned by a specified angle after being inserted into the housing main body 1 in a manner in which it can be detached are installed on the side wall of the chamber 2. The cylindrical valve 9 is turned to be operated by the rotation of the head cover 31. Only when the valve 9 is opened, an introduction passage 38 communicating between the introduction opening 5 and the filtration chamber 2 of the housing main body 1 through the holes 9a, 9b of the cylindrical valve 9 and a discharge passage 39 communicating between the inside of the filter element 21 and the discharge opening 6 are formed on the head cover 31.
