Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter element easy in its attaching and removing and its manufacturing, and by which the deterioration of the working environment in a manufacturing process is restrained, and which is manufactured at low a cost. SOLUTION: A filter element arranged in a filter case 10 comprises an inner tube 20 and a filter medium 30. On the outer peripheries of the upper part and the lower part of the filter medium 30, meltable resin seal members 38, 39 are welded, respectively. The filter case 10 comprises a case body 11 and a cover member 12, and a lower seal member holding part 11a and an upper seal member holding part 12a are respectively formed on them. By closing the cover body 12 with a filter element being fitted in the case body 11, the meltable resin seal members 38, 39 are inserted into the inner peripheries of the seal member holding part 11a, 12a while deformed to seal a gap between an outer space 19 and an inner space 25. When the cover member 12 is removed, the filter element is easily removed.
