PURPOSE: To enhance handling capability and environmental acceptability, to provide high electro motive force, and to provide required voltage by using a compound with N-F bonding as a positive active material.
CONSTITUTION: A compound with N-F bonding such as an N-fluoropyridinium compound and N-fluorosulfoneamide compound is a stable solid even at high temperature, and can be manufactured at normal temperature, and is easy to handle. When the compound is used as an electrolyte, it acts as excellent solid electrolyte and also acts as a positive active material. The compound with N-F bonding for generating energy is easy to handle and has high environmental acceptability, and provides high electro motive force or required electro motive force. A battery with high energy density, wide usable temperature range, and long life, or a compact, light, and thin battery can be provided.
